Welcome to the HealIn Blog

Welcome, and thank you for happening upon my blog! My name is Karen Millon, a healing and transformational life coach, host of the HealIn podcast, and author of An Amazing Divorce: What you Can Do For Yourself, For Each Other and For the Children to Achieve It.

I was born in Colombia and raised there until I was 15 years old when I moved to Canada. I am a proud Canadian and an American resident living in New York City. I am a successful businesswoman with over 20 years of experience focusing on strategic planning and entrepreneurial business start-ups. I am a mother of three confident girls (ages 16, 14 & 6). I am a truly amazing ex-wife — and an even more amazing wife. A caring and loyal friend to many.

It was a focus on healing my deep childhood wounds that transformed my life, and now I am on a mission to inspire you and to help you do the necessary work to heal so that you, too, can achieve the amazing self, relationships, mindset and well-being that you deserve.

My goal is to inspire you and help you through it all, either by working with me 1 on 1, by listening to my podcast, by watching my YouTube channel, by reading my book, or by catching these blogs.

Thank you for being here. These blogs are for those of you who are not audio learners or don’t have the time or desire to listen to the podcast or YouTube channel but are curious to learn more about healing. Starting with several introductory blogs on the reasons why I believe that we can all profit from healing, each subsequent blog will touch on my latest podcast episode, summarizing the key takeaways that I learned from each of the guests interviewed on all of the great modalities that exist out there to help us heal.

I personally don’t believe that there is anything sexier or more attractive and beautiful than a healed, confident man or woman. Healing is for the brave.

I believe that going deep and healing your inner wounds is the key to SUSTAINABLE, amazing relationships with self and others, happiness, and well-being.

See, I believe that healing is the key―the key to sustainable and authentic self-esteem (self-love where you learn to know yourself, who you are, and what you want and deserve), to commanding respect, to relationships (how to manage marriage/divorce/friendships/parenting and being aware of your triggers and who you are), to happiness (our mind/mindset/positivity), and to well-being (our health, weight, and body).

This is the place where we explore the role and importance of deep healing in our lives – in ourselves, our relationships, our happiness and our well-being.

Thank you for your desire to learn and be inspired.
